National partners
As part of its strategic plan, the University attaches significant importance to integrating the national dimension and thus promoting diversity. It is an active member of various specialised national networks. These partnerships facilitate student and faculty mobility, offer funding and collaboration options, and are committed to maintaining high quality standards. As a result, these initiatives encourage the University’s internationalisation process and continually enrich its educational offering.
Campus France
The Université Catholique de Lille works closely with Campus France, the public body whose mission is to promote French higher education abroad and welcome international students and researchers to France. Campus France plays a key role in promoting international mobility by managing scholarship programmes and running a dynamic alumni community. The University is actively involved in this network, participating in a large number of webinars and events.
Erasmus+ France / Education and training
The University and the French Erasmus+ Agency have been working together for many years, as a result of the many partnerships forged under this mobility programme. The main purpose of this agency is to ensure the promotion, implementation, administration and development of the Erasmus+ programme. Each year, it develops and implements strategies and action plans, which are submitted to the relevant ministries and the European Commission for prior approval. As part of this commitment, the University implements Erasmus projects awarded by the Erasmus Agency and coordinated by the International Relations Department.

European and international networks
The Université Catholique de Lille is a member of numerous European and international networks, and actively participates in initiatives such as the Erasmus+ programmes, strategic alliances and research consortia. AJCU - Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities
AJCU is an organization of Jesuit institutions of higher education in the United States. Its primary purpose is to promote the Jesuit values of education, service and social justice through higher education. As a member of AJCU, the Université Catholique de Lille benefits from a global network of like-minded institutions, which fosters academic exchange, collaborative research and community development initiatives. SIETAR Society for Education, Training and Research
The Université Catholique de Lille is an active member of SIETAR-France, an association founded in 1979 that brings together professionals from all areas of intercultural work, including companies, NGOs, the social sector, educational institutions and training bodies, universities, research, etc. Under the guidance of a volunteer board of directors, SIETAR-France organises events such as training days, evenings and conferences open to members and non-members alike. APUAF - Association des Programmes Universitaires Américains en France
For several years, the Université Catholique de Lille has been a member of the APUAF (Association of American University Programmes in France), which brings together American university programmes established in France with the aim of fostering academic and cultural collaboration between institutions in both countries. By facilitating relationships and cooperation, the APUAF enhances the experience of learners and strengthens intercontinental links in the field of education. The University is particularly involved in this network by taking part in the General Assembly and contributing to the discussions of working groups such as raising awareness on sustainable development. It is also taking the opportunity to highlight its projects, including Live TREE.
International events for education and training
EAIE
Every year, the Université Catholique de Lille takes part in the EAIE (European Association of International Education) international conference, a key event in the field of higher education. The EAIE’s main objective is to promote and facilitate the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and beyond. By setting up training courses and exchange platforms, as well as partnerships with bodies such as CEPES-UNESCO and ERASMUS Student Network, the EAIE is a key tool for international relations. Participation in these events gives the University the opportunity to create direct and friendly relationships with international counterparts, strengthening its networks and opportunities for global cooperation.
NAFSA
The Université Catholique de Lille is a member of NAFSA, the world’s largest association of higher education educators. NAFSA provides a large platform for professional development and networking between higher education providers. By taking part in NAFSA, the Université Catholique de Lille is able to broaden its horizons, improve its practices and strengthen its international relations.
APAIE
In order to boost its international cooperation and offer its students an increasingly enriching educational experience, the Université Catholique de Lille joined the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE), an organisation of leading higher education institutions in the Asia-Pacific region in the 2010s. APAIE aims to highlight the importance of international education in the Asia-Pacific region by facilitating cooperation between institutions and supporting overseas exchanges and activities. Its main activity is an annual conference in March, which enables higher education professionals to exchange best practice. Membership enables the Université Catholique de Lille to connect with higher education organisations around the world, fostering mutual respect, diversity and collective progress.
