Présentation

Prerequisite
To have completed the Alison Online 'Change Management Courses' - approx 10-15hrs pre-course learning.
Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

* Organize change management processes (LO3C)
* Have the ability to understand the wider impact of change on the business and employee groups.
* Be able to design an implementation plan / project plan/ Gannt sheet related to business change initiative
* Be able to create and adapt communication methods in order to engage employees in business change
appreciate what additional business changes may shape the original concept and adapt their strategy accordingly.
* Be able to address issues to help employees/system issues to overcome resistance to the change initiative
* Have identified management internal CSR issues pertaining to their chosen change project
* Identify and priortize the impact of the change on the organisation in alignment with theories - to ensure employee buy-in and long term sustainability of the change initiative.
* Identify the wider impact within the organisation and on external environment that the change initiative can and will have
* Identify and form a strategy to reduce resistance to change within the organisation
Presentation
*Day 1: student groups assigned/chose their business case that will be the basis for the whole course duration. Identify who/what/why/when/how they will approach this change initiative. Then challenge that with answering 'why' .

*Day 2: To create a communication strategy. How will they tackle communicating the iniative, what why how when - looking at those impacted initially and then the wider implications operationally and from the people perspective. This is to include identifying training needs (if applicable).
Added information to be given '2 months later you learn that …..'

*Day 3
To create their Gannt Sheet/implementation strategy stages. Identifying what they would do and when, why in that order, what risks, how they'll overcome the risk if they arise.
Is the project on schedule, if not, why not, how to manage and risks associated.
Added information 'you are now 4 months in to the project and discover that …..'

*Day 4 is presentations.
Presentations are to reflect a 'business project update meeting' where the course tutor/prof will be raising questions if applicable - identifying areas to improve for inclusion in their final written project. This will include communication materials, posters, emails, risks and how to overcome risks. This is to reflect the 'project update' at the 3 month point in real life change implementation - what has been done, why and with how, what is next, what issues and how to ensure smooth operations while implementing sustainable change.
