Goal
This course is aimed at introducing students to the legal framework and providing a global and synthetic vision as to the main aspects of private law.
At the end of the semester the student is supposed to understand legal issues and solve case study, by applying general legal principles to concrete examples. She has to be comfortable with technical terms and be familiar with the approach used in both civil law countries and common law countries. She has to know that further approaches exist.
Presentation
The course foresee a first introductive chapter providing general notions on legal rules, the judiciary system and evidence ; then the following chapters focuses on personal property and real estate, liability rules (both contracts and torts), as well as warranties.
