Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to :
Level 1 : Interact in a simple way. Answer simple questions and talk about simple topics. Present a short and prepared presentation about simple topics. Describe themselves and do some shopping in French.
Level 2 : Interact more easily in well-structured situations and short talks. Make a brief presentation about topics linked to their daily life. Give brief explanations and reasons about their opinions, projects and actions. Make a clear presentation giving reasons for or against a specific question. Tell a story or describe something with a simple sequence of sentences. Describe their daily environment such as people, places, professional or scolar experiences.
Level 3 : Communicate with ease about a variety of topics linked with their interests. Make a description in a clear and detailed way of a wide range of topics. Make a prepared presentation in a clear way giving reasons for or against a particular point of view and giving advantages and drawbacks of different options.
For all the levels : Be autonomous and creative especially in the creation of different materials.

Continuous assessment 60% : 1 test at the end of each thematic + participation grade each class
Oral final exam 30% : presentation (10 points) + speaking exam ( selected randomly with a preparation time in class) (10 points)
