3. Develop collaboratively a real venture idea in a fast-paced environment
4. Defend publicly a new inclusive venture idea
Presentation
The ‘inclusive entrepreneurship practice’ module consists of a hackathon experience – with a strong emphasis on inclusion. We understand a ‘hackathon experience’ as one where students are immersed in a fast-paced environment, during which they will be expected to engage in concrete actions to develop a new venture idea collaboratively. The ‘inclusive’ focus of this modules implies that students’ new venture ideas must either deliver value to an under-represented social group (women, ethnic/immigrant minorities, people with disabilities, youth, senior, LGBTQ+, …) or that the founding team itself embodies and encompasses inclusive values and positions. Inclusive entrepreneurship is also about ensuring that underrepresented groups of entrepreneurs (which can include young/ student entrepreneurs!) have access to capital, networks and support.
Eligibility for the course will be based on availability to participate in the hackathon on MARCH 22, 2019. Good French language command is desirable.
