Basic concepts in organization and strategic management from core courses.
Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

1. Understand the different typologies of innovation
2. Analyse the main internal and external sources of innovation
3. Evauate critically exisiting innovative business models
4. Create a viable innovative business model in the service industry
Presentation
This course is intended provide students with practical skills to understand, evaluate, create, and ultimately manage an effective the innovation process within an organisation.The students will have the opportunity to appreciate the relevant skills to manage innovation using examples of main leading international firms. We will make use of several materials such as books, case studies, and other sources in the public domain. The final projects will be a real applicaiotn of a business model innovation to the business unit/division/department where studetsna re currrenty working.
