Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
- Know basic principles of IPRs at the international, regional and national level. Be able to compare and contrast different legal system
- Define what are the access requirements for being granted an intellectual property right (IPRs);
- Choose the most appropriate IPR for their production;
- Identify who are the right owner and when their consent is required;
- Understand what are the activities that fall under the scope of IPRs;
- Identify and choose different ways of IPRs management;
- Understand open policies and open licences (content and functioning);
- Be able to think strategically and choose the most suitable open licence (if any);
- Apply legal rules to concrete scenarios autonomously and in group
