Prerequisite
Introduction to Finance and some knowledge of statistics and/or mathematics is asset
Goal
At the end of the course, the student should be able to :
- familiar with the main characteristics, mechanisms and functioning of financial markets,
- acquire fundamental knowledge on the pricing and valuation of major financial assets,
- understand the causes and consequences of the global financial crisis together with the role of
monetary policy.
