Goal
At the end of this study the student is able
- to analyse a complex system in the area of his scientific domain
- to conduct a litterature study on a well defined problem and determine the state of the art in the matter
- to propose a solution to a complex technical problem
- to evaluate the proposed solution in terms of performance, fullfillement of the requirements, delay and cost

Presentation
The case study's aim is to establish the feasability of a complex system from the specifications provided. The different activities are:
- establish the state of the art in the area from a litterature study
- determine the performances that could be expected and refine the specifications
- propose an appropriate solution in terms of performance, delay and costs
- evaluate in detail the proposed solution by means of modelling, simulation and in the need arises, the design of a prototype.
Deliverable of this work are:
- litterature study and refined specifications (to be approved by the advisor)
- report on detailed feasability study
- oral defence of the study to a Jury
The study is done by a small group of students (2 to 4 students)
