Guided tour of LiDD: Design School
In 2025, the Lille Catholic University is proud to be taking an active part in the Joli Mois de l’Europe. In addition to its Erasmus+ programme, the University is working alongside the European Union to promote cultural diversity and encourage openness to the world. To celebrate this collaboration, the University is joining forces with other local players to offer you a rich and varied range of events.
In September 2024, the University launched an exciting new project: the LiDD design school. Located at the heart of Euratechnologie’s TechShop, this school offers students a complete immersion in the world of design, while providing them with access to a fleet of 150 state-of-the-art machines. The TechShop has received funding from the European Union to support various initiatives, including the acquisition of machines and the development of prototyping solutions.
In this context, the LiDD design school invites you to discover its facilities during a guided tour on Wednesday 14 May. This tour will give you an insight into the history of this innovative facility and allow you to explore in detail the creative projects carried out by the students, while highlighting the cutting-edge technologies available to them.
