Verdi Requiem: The Story Of St. Joseph’s Chapel

Verdi Requiem: The Story Of St. Joseph’s Chapel
To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the Université Catholique de Lille is offering a unique, immersive performance in the Chapelle universitaire Saint-Joseph. For three evenings, Verdi’s Requiem, composed 150 years ago, will be brought to life by 350 artists: the European Symphony Orchestra, regional choristers, the University Choir, the Brussels Choral Society, and 50 dance and theater students.
This masterful interpretation, combining music, song and dance, will sublimate the architecture of the Chapelle to offer an artistic immersion to 400 spectators each evening. A unique celebration where heritage and contemporary creation meet in a moment of great emotion.
