By the end of this course, a student should be able to:

1. Appreciate the relevance of compnay law to individuals and businesses and the role of law in an economic, political and social context.


2. Identify and analyse critically the fundamental principles surrounding the formation, running and dissolution of limited liability partnerships and incorporated companies, including the provisions of the Companies Act 2006.


3. Apply company law principles to fact based legal problems.


4. Examine and reflect on current legal issues in company law and the reforms of the Companies Act 2006.
