This class examines the principal areas of EU Competition law with a primary focus on substantive law.

However, enforcement and procedural issues will be discussed as well.

c. Information exchange and problem of tacit collusion

Class 3: Agreements other than cartels, vertical agreements

a. Other forms of horizontal cooperation and their effects
b. Vertical agreements – Resale price maintenance, non-­-price restraints
c. Finding an agreement or concerted practice ABUSE OF DOMINANT POSITION ON THE
MARKET (MONOPOLIES)

Class 4: Fundamental concepts and conduct constituting abuse

a. Defining market power, concept of dominance

Class 5: Assessment of mergers under competition law; jurisdictional issues
