Presentation :
The Master’s in European & Franco-German Business Law is trilingual in French, German and English. During the two years students will be able to specialise in the various areas of business law different areas of business law in the French, German and European German and European legal systems

AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME
This Master’s degree covers all the disciplines of business law in France, Germany and Europe: commercial law, European antitrust law, company law, European competition law, securities law, law of obligations, international and European merger and acquisition law, etc.
Theoretical training is supplemented by in-company practice as part of the assessment (block-release course)
Preparation for legal work in large companies, public institutions and Franco-German and European law firms
EDUCATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
One year of legal training in each country:
> 1st year at Passau Law School in Germany
> 2nd year at the UCL Faculty of Law (Issy-les-Moulineaux campus in France)
Advanced language and legal culture courses
Issuance of a certificate of recognition of study (‘Leistungsanerkennung’) by the Faculty of Law in Passau at the end of the 1st year of the Master’s programme
Award of an LL.M by the Faculty of Law of the University of Passau at the end of the M2 from 2025 onwards
Theoretical training supplemented by work experience in a company or law firm (work-study)
Courses taught in French, German and English by lecturers from the Faculty or Visiting Professors
Continuing your studies :
Access to the French Bar exam on completion of the Master’s degree
