Ability to attend all sessions, arriving on time.
Ability to engage in all sessions without laptops, mobile phones or electronic translation devices, taking notes instead using paper and pen.

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
Identify and Change State, Mood and Emotions in Self. Manage Difficult Conversations, written communications and simple negotiations. See and acknowledge the impact of their actions (including time management) on self and others. Monitor and master their presence in an authentic and compelling manner. Work flexibly in a variety of situations. Ask meaningful and precise questions for clarification. Engage in dialogue and access curiosity in all types of conversations and situations. Understand the role empathy at work. Know what motivates them, as well as how to identify what motivates others. Navigate complex relationships at work, within teams, & with clients. Develop and build high integrity professional networks. Receive and give feedback with kindness and directness. Articulate the advantages of a diverse work team and organisation.

Students will learn self awareness and self regulation – the two foundation elements of emotional intelligence. They will learn how to conduct themselves with presence and learn how ot gain a clear understanding of the impact of their actions on others.
Defining values, priorities and ethical/integrity issues that matter to each individual. Learning how these values can shape careers and support happiness and effectiveness in work.
Mood, State of being, ability to read that in others and to regulate our own styles to fit situations. Within this section we will practice giving and receiving effective written and verbal feedback and managing and participating in meetings. Learning how to motivate self and others.
