At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
– Understand what a ‘function’ is.
– Apply and interpret all these mathematical notions in various applications in business and economics.
– Model functions and apply the models to concrete settings
– Understand that there might be more than one way to solve a given problem;
– Effectively use computer software (Excel,fooplot) to graph functions
