– The course objective is to understand the content of operations management and to give students strong skills to improve the efficiency of this management (improvement of productivity, metrics to measure company performance…)
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
– Beakdown complex company processes using the different techniques of project management (business or quality) – AACSB LO3A
– Build and analyze sales forecasts to take adequat decisions on sales organization – AACSB LO5D
– Apply the concepts of supply chain management to take the best process decisions based on forecasts – AACSB LO5C
– Make organizational decisions to improve productivity (based on the different skills acquired)- AACSB LO5D
– Understand the links between metrics, forecasts and strategies- AACSB LO6A
– All presentations and exercises should be done in English – AACSB LO1C
