Students enrolled in this course should have taken introductory courses in Information Systems & Operations Management or have basic knowledge of these areas acquired from professional experience or from an internship.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
– Apply their fundamental theoretical knowledge of an ERP system and more specifically the SAP ERP software
– Demonstrate working knowledge of the SAP supply chain management software modules
-Explain how best practices are embedded in an ERP as reference models
– Describe process components and their integration in the SAP ERP system
– Develop skills concerning the implementation of SAP ERP system
– Explain how supply chain management decisions are integrated and impact various aspects of business
performance.
– Work effectively within a SAP ERP environment
– Discuss the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution capabilities of SAP ERP to support corporate responsibility and sustainabilty
