At the end of course, the student should be able to:
– Recall basic programming concepts
– Select the appropriate data types for variables
– Construct scripts using basic control structures (sequence, selection, and iteration)
– Use basic data structures (arrays)
– Implement more advanced programming with methods
– Recall basic HTTP concepts
– Implement APIs for web-scraping
This course introduces students to the basics of programming in python and the application of these skills to the use of APIs for web-scraping.
