At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

– develop, implement, and manage effective and sustainable closed loop supply chains and returns operations, increase revenue and reduce costs, and create value for the company and customers.
– understand how to plan, implement and control the efficient and effective inbound flow and storage of materials, in process inventory, finished goods, and related information from the point of consumption to the point of origin for recapturing value.
– contribute to sustainable economic development, working with local community, and society to improve their quality of life.
– describe, investigate and analyse complex closed loop supply chains and reverse logistics systems and associated issues using systems thinking and modelling techniques.
– exposit legal, social, economic, ethical and environmental interests, values and requirements of stakeholders.
– identify and assess risks as well as the economic, social and environmental impacts of closed loop supply chains and the reverse logistics activities.
