• Realise entrepreneurship in times of climate change
• Understand environmental economics: the basics
• Towards efficient and zero emissions global freight and logistics
• Understand the impact of supply chain processes on the carbon footprint of a company
• Establish key performance indicators for the (green) supply chain processes
• Manage and control the (green) supply chain process
• Incorporate changes within the (green) supply chain and within the external environment in the supply chain set-up (short term and in the future)
• Model (green) supply chain processes to maximize the added value in the supply chain in terms of customer service and costs

The topic of green (or sustainable) logistics and supply chain management will be theoretically introduced and then implemented in the serious business game “The Fresh Connection” (TFC), where the students will play the version with carbon footprint.

The aim is to teach the students by experiential learning:
• Cross-functional management
• Realistic decision making processes
• Tactical business decisions
• The impact on the carbon footprint
• How to reduce the carbon footprint
