At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
– Work effectively in a team:
– Use effective communication in their relationships to other team members
– Prepare ahead, participate and chair a meeting effectively.
Working in “collective intelligence” is now part of a manager’s role.
This course aims at developping students global know-how and interpersonal skills that they’ll be implementing in ieseg school projects, during their internships and their professional life.

Seminars run over 2 consecutive days in groups of approximately 12 students.
A number of activities are offered including individual and group exercises, roleplays, discussions and theoretical concepts. The course requires active participation and a good sense of commitment.
The following topics are covered :
– The importance of framework and values in a team
– Permission, Protection, and Potency: The Three Ps triangle in transactional analysis.
– Basic concepts in interpersonal communication: subjective experience /frame of reference, active listening, paraphrasing, facts-opinions-feelings and « I » message.
– Ken Wilber’s integral vision theory – Belbin – Kurt Lewin: collective intelligence and teamwork.
