– financial derivatives such as forward and option contracts

At the end of the course, the student should be able to:

– understand the importance of multinational transactions
– understand international monetary arrangements and balance of payments
– understand how foreign exchange rates are determined;
– understand foreign exchange risk
– construct expert knowledge from cutting-edge information (5B)
– thoroughly examine a complex business situation (6A)

This course aims to provide students with knowledge of international finance and skills of managing
FX securities in a global environment. Topics include FX markets, international monetary arrangements, foreign exchange rates parities, determinants of exchange rates, FX derivatives and FX risk management.
