Students may want to review an introductory level book to business and management to support.
• understand tradeoffs in managing the operations of a company.
• apply and adapt the knowledge acquired during the course to various fields of operations management.
• use different computer software and simulation tools (such as Microsoft Project, Lekin, Excel and Solver) to solve various managerial problems.
• have a good understanding of the role and importance of information sharing in a supply chain.
