To have completed the one the Culural Diversity courses at IESEG in the Bachelor Cycle and/or completed the revision module in the master program.
At the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1) Recognize cultural values and orientations and their impact on behaviour at a personal, national and professional level
2) Work more respectfully and sucessfully in international and intercultral contexts by adapting their ways of thinking and behaving
3) Gain an understanding of his preferred way of interacting thanks to the Process Communication Model
4) Develop his managerial skills by coaching and mentoring a team of Bachelor students
5) Have a greater awareness of ESRS topics such as diversity and inclusion
– A common frame of reference covering the essential intercultural communication and management models (Bennett’s DMIS, Trompenaars’ model, Rosinski’s Cultural Orientations Framework)
– Know and experiment the 6 ways of perceiving one’s environment and the 18 character strenghts (Process Communication Model)
– Use the adequate language to optimize interactions with team members
