At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

1) Recognize cultural values and orientations and their impact on behaviour at a personal and professional level through the Rosinski COF profile
2) Work more respectfully and successfully in diverse contexts by adapting their ways of thinking, behaving and communicating
3) Gain an understanding of his/her preferred mode of functioning and interacting thanks to Process Communication Model
4) Practice other ways to interact with different people in order to manage the relationship in positive communication as well as in miscommunication
5) Have a greater awareness of ESRS topics such as diversity and inclusion

– A common frame of reference covering the essential intercultural communication and management models (Kluckhohn and Strodtbeck, Hall, Hofstede, Trompenaars)
– Bennett’s DMIS, Trompenaars’ 4Rs reconciliation model, Rosinski’s Cultural Orientations Framework
– Know and experiment the 6 ways of perceiving one’s environment and the 18 character strenghts (Process Communication Model)
– Use the adequate language to give feedback and optimize interactions with team members.
