Assessment: Students will be required to answer questions about the class and analyse a short extract from one of the works being studied.

COURSE PROGRAM:


This course will offer some guidelines for understanding some of the major authors of British literature. Excerpts from novels, plays and classic poems will be studied. Attention will be paid to the ways in which literary texts can be approached.
