CLARIFE - French as a foreign language (FLE)

Specialised in teaching French as a Foreign Language, Clarife aims to help students integrate as easily as possible into French university life and adapt to French culture through the development of language skills.

Clarife proposes courses of weekly classes as well as various intensive courses. Students receive a certificate of their level at the end of each course.

MASTERCLASS – GLOBAL ACTORS FOR PEACE BEYOND « THE WEST AND THE REST »

Dates : 20 to 24 September

As every year, the "Global Actors for Peace" Masterclass will focus on the role that non-State actors have in the construction of peace.

The theme of this 5th edition is "Beyond the West and the Rest" and aims to discuss theories and representations of peace established in Europe and the USA.

For a week, international speakers will meet students and members of civil society and discuss different topics.

Student Housing Aid for 2021 - CAF du Nord Online Event - 22 September

To help students looking for housing, the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales du Nord (CAF) has produced some communication tools including French, English and Spanish documentation which can be found here.

"MIGRANTS" winner of the BAFTA Student Film Award

Each year, projects from the Pôle 3D school are noticed and rewarded during several events (Game Made in France, Ping Awards and other festivals). MIGRANTS, an animated 3D film, was created as a final year project by Zoé Devise, Lucas Lermytte, Hugo Caby, Aubin Kubiak et Antoine Dupriez, 5th year students at Pôle 3D. This engaged short film highlights current issues : immigration and global warming, through a touching animation featuring a mother bear and her cub searching for a new habitat.

The film has been nominated in more than 100 festivals around the world (North America, Asia, South America) and has received more than 25 awards.

It has recently received one of the most prestigious awards for students in the animation world : the BAFTA Student Film Award. (BAFTA Los Angeles)

These rewards make the movie eligible for the Oscars 2021!
