Objectifs
At the end of this course, the students are able to:
- understand the types and functions of inventories (AOL-6.A)
- describe the impact of aggregate planning on inventory management (AOL-6.A)
- apply aggregate planning methods in different problem contexts (AOL-3.A)
- comprehend a number of inventory models (AOL-5.C)
- identify and apply appropriate inventory models to solve specific problems (AOL-3.A)
- comprehend JIT inventory systems and VMI (AOL-6.B);
- describe the essential elements contributing to successful JIT inventory systems and VMI (AOL-6.B).
