Prérequis
Students enrolled in this course should have taken introductory courses in Operations Management or have basic knowledge of business operations acquired from professional experience or from an internship.

- Master the topics related to design and planning of transnational operations in manufacturing and services
- Predict the operations contribution to the development of a successful transnational business strategy
- Assess technologies which are applied in transnational operations
- Recognize the core topics of sustainable business operations
Présentation
1. The nature of operations.
2. Process strategies, the 4V’s of operations, strategic operational decisions.
3. Principles of transnational operations: integration, coordination, trade-off, focus.
4. Optimal resource allocation in transnational operations
5. Competencies in transnational operations: cost, flexibility, quality, time, value, revenue, scalability, ubiquity.
6. Supply chain management principles and supply chain integration.
7. Operations management technologies for transnational networks.
