Présentation
The course will focus on creating the basis for the students to understand how to create and sustain a competitive advantage from digitalization by manipulating the key drivers of such advantage in the specific context of the fashion industry. In particular the course will focus on the new challenges that are brought about by digitalization in fashion contexts. These include the latest trends in technology and how these trends are giving to organizations the possibility to completely digitize their business processes, their producs, and their business models. The course will provide also a critical view on the digital innovation trend allowing the students to understand and discuss the disruptive effects of IT both at the individual and organizational levels. The course will do so by providing the students with the unchanging tools of IT management: IT project management tools and IT driven change tools.

the assesment will be based on 3 elements: a simulation during the course, the evaluation of the student's active partecipation in the class discussions and a concluding group project
